Welcome to AroTime

Thanks for choosing AroTime. These terms (the "Terms") cover how you may use our services — the AroTime web app and any related features, software, and tools (together, the "Service") — operated by the AroTime Team ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service.

How you may use the Service

Use AroTime within the bounds of applicable law and these Terms. In particular, please don't:

• Probe, scan, or otherwise abuse the Service or its infrastructure
• Access the Service through anything other than the interfaces we provide
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract source code beyond what the law permits
• Use the Service to harm, harass, or impersonate others

We may suspend or terminate access if we suspect misuse or if doing so is necessary to protect the Service or other users.

Your account

You'll need an account to use most parts of AroTime. Keep your credentials safe — you are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Please don't reuse your AroTime password on other sites. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Your content

AroTime lets you create tasks, projects, notes, and other content. That content is yours — you keep all the rights you had in it before you put it into AroTime. We only use your content to operate the Service for you (storing it, displaying it back to you, syncing it across your devices). If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the Service without any obligation to you.

Intellectual property

Using AroTime doesn't transfer any of our intellectual-property rights to you. Our name, logo, and brand stay ours. Beyond what these Terms allow, you may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service.

Software updates

AroTime is a web application that may change at any time. We may add features, change how existing features work, or remove things that no longer fit. We try to give notice for meaningful changes when it's reasonable to do so.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new features, legal requirements, or operational needs. We'll post the updated Terms on this page and note the "Last updated" date. Material changes take effect no sooner than 14 days after we publish them, unless the change is required by law or addresses a security issue. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.

No warranty

We try hard to keep AroTime running well, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limits on liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the AroTime Team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, revenue, or data — arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

Business use

If you're using AroTime on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and that organisation agrees to indemnify the AroTime Team against any claim arising out of misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

General

If part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest will still apply. Our not enforcing a right immediately doesn't mean we've waived it. These Terms don't create any third-party rights.
